Build a Life in WA - Milestone 1 Claim Form

The Build a Life in WA incentive has been introduced by the WA Government to assist skilled workers from interstate or New Zealand to meet the costs of moving to WA to work in the building and construction industry.

You are eligible to apply for a Milestone 1 payment if you have secured employment in the WA building sector, and were not living in WA prior to 1 January 2025. You cannot lodge a claim more than three months before your agreed employment start date.

For the purposes of this program, building and construction work is defined as:

residential - including the building of houses, apartments, units and townhouses; and
commercial - including the building of schools, hospitals, shops, offices and factories.
